New Visa Centers in Manila and Cebu

Posted by graham on August 23rd, 2013 in About the Philippines

On July 15 the Canadian Government announced the opening of new visa application centers in Manila and Cebu. These new visa centers will make applying to enter Canada an easier and more convenient process.

The Citizenship and Immigration Canada, or CIC, is expanding their VAC network around the world to be able to provide administrative support to applicants. This will assist them before, during and after their temporary resident application is assessed by a CIC immigration officer.

VAC agents are available via phone, email or in person to answer questions in local languages and to make sure that the applications are complete. This process helps in avoiding unnecessary delays or refusals due to incomplete application requirements.

At the application centers, there are some other services that can be done for an additional fee. These services include: photocopying, application photographs and self-service computer terminals for those who would wish to use online applications.

Those who wish to apply for a visitor visa, study permit, work permit or permanent resident travel document are encouraged to visit the new VACS:

Cebu:
